Mwambu Patrick

Mr Mwambu Patrick is a 60 year old lame man who stays around Bugujju IN Mukono district. When disability combines with poverty then life becomes so difficult to survive.

Mr. Mwambu Patrick married his wife and gave birth to 10 kids but after while his wife died and he has lived to burry six of his children.

What Patrick can’t forget is the day he lost his son, after he used all his saving to buy for him a motorcycle so that he can help on the standard of living and to buy home basic needs. He narrates that as his son was heading back home at night after work, he was attacked by robbers who killed him and ran away with the motorcycle.

Patrick was at home waiting for his son he received a phone call from people telling him of the incident that his son had been murdered in cold blood and that the thieves have also ran with the only asset he had that is his motorcycle.

As if that is not enough Mr. Mwambu was given a house by a Good Samaritan to stay in but after few months, they claimed it and told him to vacate the place. But as he was still looking where to stay the house was put on fire amidst the night.

As we speak right now Patrick sleeps in a small wooden congested house which is not fully build because whenever it rains in the night he suffers the consequences.

As timely God Led Club managed to reach out to him and provided him with, food like, matooke, posho, and Rice, Radio, mattress, beddings, He cries every day to the well-wishers to help him find a shelter for him and his kids.

 Therefore we call upon everyone who is willing to give a hand so that we can help Mr. Mwambu Patrick and buy him a piece of land and build for himself to live a better life
