Mrs. Fatumah Ndisaba Nabitaka the RDC Mukono district
GIANT2022-11-26T10:42:07+00:00This Mrs. Fatumah Ndisaba Nabitaka the RDC Mukono district, I would love to take this oppotunity of thanking Timely God Led Club which is led by Pastors Emmanuel and Brenda Binaisa of Righteous of God Church-Mukono for the opportunity they give to our district because we have seen them on several occasions providing to the disabled and the needy in Mukono district. Even before covid-19 had not yet started we have been seeing these people giving or donating materials to use to the disabled fraternity of Mukono district.
As government we are very much appreciative to the donations and to the church because most of the people and the NGOs have been receiving things to use but they do not normally bring the materials and the money that is given to them by the funding bodies, they normally tend to use the money as organizations and the impact of their existence in our districts is not easily seen, but the impact of Timely God Led Club in Mukono is seen.
So I take the opportunity the thank the members that Club, the followers in that church for the contributions, because we all know, those that are believing in the Bible, that the hand that gives is more blessed than the hand that receives. So we thank God for the heart that he gave them, we thank them for the love they have for their country, and for those that are in need. And we pray to God so that he rewards them abundantly.
We appreciate the Club as the district, we shall always recommend you and we are still looking forward to receiving more and more from you as the government and we shall give you full support.
Thank you so much.
We have a lot of challenges as Mukono district, we cannot say that because we were hit by polio but we acknowledge that we have quite a number of Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs) in our district and that is why even the government brought it on board that the fraternity of the disabled is supposed to be having representatives at all levels and with gender sensitivity we have to appreciate them. So that is why we normally elect representatives at LCI, LCII, LCIII, up to parliament. That is a sign that purely indicates that we have them in our communities and we need to give them assistance. So we recommend them, we appreciate them and we have to cater for their well-being.
We also appreciate the Pastors for the re-usable pads, for employing our youths that prays with him at their Church because it is a sign of innovation
Of recent, the Hon-Minister for Education The First Lady, Hon Janet Kataha Museveni had promised to give re-usable pads to the adolescent girls that go to school but this is a step that has been taken by this church and I wish to recommend them because they have the will have proven on ground that they can help the girl child leave the primary seven class when she has a skill of making these re-usable pads and that will be a sign that we will be keeping our girl children in school and assisting the disabled to go through their menstruation cycle in a better way when they are not intimidated or getting ashamed which is like sending them off the school and they do not even complete their education cycles.
