Savio Kabugo Ginola
I am Savio Kabugo Ginola, a professional footballer currently the Defender of Proline Football PFC, I have played for Sebeta city in Ethiopia and Uganda cranes. I was born on 20th January 1995 in Kampala. In Uganda cranes I play as a defender. I have traded my football in different clubs such as Victoria University SC, KCCA, FC, URA, and Proline FC.
After my good performance in FUFA super league, Uganda cup and on Uganda cranes, a chance for trial at Bidvest Wits in June 2013 emerged, in September 2014 while at national team, I got an injury and my last club game was in December against bright stars in the same year 2014. In January bright stars in the same year 2015 against SC villa.
I came to know about Timely God Led Club from Pastor Binaisa Emmanuel. I joined the team to go to different outreaches and every activity or outreach is another experience. I saw people with disabilities and almost shed tears basing on their physical appearances, conditions and stories we shared.
I had never involved myself in charity work, but basing on the integrity of the Club’s activities and its Proprietors I decided to join the club. I am an ambassador at the club and am doing my best to see that these peoples’ lives change.
I always remember the happiness that I put in Namboole National stadium when the crowd that gathered that day, I wish we could come together and also make these isolated, neglected and some abandoned young men and women smile.
We have so far registered over 2000 families of people with disabilities; we have fed them, provided some necessities and the demand is too much. I call upon every individual, companies, factories, investors among others who know the value of co-operate social responsibility to consider the Timely God Led Club so as to help these people.
